QUESTION: How can I determine the best floor covering company and salesperson to bring my vision alive when there is such a wide variety and selection?

ANSWER: There is a large selection of floor covering companies and interior decorators in the greater Portland area, but of those, the number of career oriented, experienced professionals are limited! Before you purchase floor covering, redecorate or have repairs done, we ask you to read the material mailed or given to you ... does it indicate the sender is a professional? Does it deal with material and installation matters? When interviewing someone to help you, make certain you speak to the person specializing in the material and installation that is applicable to your needs. DO NOT look just for the person that gives you the lowest suggested asking price for your material and/or labor, it may not be accurate, and it may cost you time, money and repairs in the long run. You should choose the professional who, in your opinion, is the most informed about your product and installation needs.

We are obviously not the only professional floor covering company around, but we do have all the qualifications mentioned above, and WE DO SPECIALIZE IN ALL YOUR FLOOR COVERING NEEDS! Ramona is the owner of PFI and has established herself in the floor covering Industry over the last 40 years as a well seasoned GC, consultant, purchasing agent, designer and job coordinator.

Ramona specializes in commercial flooring product specifications as well as the installation of products specified.

She is well versed in all commercial applications of projects large and small. Hotels, restaurants. Nursing homes, hospitals, tenant improvement. Movie theaters, offices buildings, etc. Ramona has the capabilities of meeting challenges and strives for the perfection and total customer satisfaction.

Once awarded a project, you will have hands on experience with Ramona and her staff and customer total satisfaction from the start to completion. She is a pleasure to work with, and always just a phone call away which is a great comfort.

Michael Crane

Michael has over 50 years in the floor covering industry as a well seasoned floor covering installation technician.

He has installed just about every flooring product on the market. Michael's attention to detail is his trademark.

He has trained many apprentices and turned them into journeyman in the floor covering industry over the years.

Michael is well versed in measuring all projects large and small, commercial, and residential, physically or by blueprint.

He is a man who wears many hats and demands perfection not only from himself but others because he guarantees his work.

Jonathan Crane

Jonathan is the Design & Remodel Specialist for the Residential side of PFI.

Growing up in the business he quickly learned that he had a natural flair for design.

Jonathan is able to look at a project and come up with a design that is amazing, extraordinary, and affordable.

Jonathan decided that residential remodeling was his niche and has accomplished his goal.

He works strictly by referrals and is on each project from beginning to end.

Karen Lawson

Karen's position here at PFI is bookkeeping. She's been with us for many years. She is handles all the accounts payable &. Karen is also a pleasure to work with and is happy to answer any questions regarding those areas and can always be reached via e-mail. We are defiantly very lucky to have her. .
